This eclectic brand of beauty products took the world by storm in 2008 thanks to its unique-looking products. Dazzling colors is what Lime Crime is all about as it captured the attention of the world. The products were cruelty-free, paraben-free as well as high in quality. For 2019, Doe Deere’s line of vintage-inspired jewelry is looking to mimic the success of her past business venture.
“I started Lime Crime when I lived in Brooklyn, New York,” said Deere. During this point in time, she was playing in a band, and she started attending FIT. “I modeled and sewed all of the clothing pieces of my fashion attire,” said Deere. Unbeknownst to her hard work, Deere replicated her fashion line with a line of cosmetics. Her unicorn lipsticks ended up becoming the brand’s best-seller, which has given her the title of being the unicorn queen. Fast-forward to 2019, and Doe Deere has her sights set on vintage jewelry. Jewelry from the Victorian era captured her attention immediately. Before she decided to go full-throttle into this type of business, she would have to do her due diligence. Deere studied for months and months before making it official.
These fine pieces of jewelry will be infused with intense color. “Color communicates emotion to me,” said Deere. Thanks to her huge fanbase, Doe Deere should be able to duplicate the success of Lime Crime. In addition to that, she has received hundreds of thousands of letters from her fans/customers.

Unroll.Me is an email organization tool that sorts emails and groups all the subscriptions in one folder. According to Jojo Hedaya, it was paramount that he formed Unroll. Me, because he was fed up with the thousands of junk emails which most of them were from subscriptions. Also, Jojo Hedaya was frustrated that his business partner and friend, Josh Rosenwald would not respond to his emails since he could not get them in his email folders.
Jojo Hedaya, who holds a degree in Philosophy and Business from Brooklyn College, City University of New York, was focused on finding a solution to this problem. Jojo and Josh, consequently, set out to work, and within two months, they launched Unroll.Me. Jojo Hedaya says that initially the application did not work as smoothly as they wished but they made major improvements on the go. Unroll. Me was featured by popular tech news platforms, The Next Web and Life Hacker. Consequently, they gained thousands of new subscribers and they would later hit a million subscribers, and the duo sold Unroll.Me to Rakuten Intelligence in 2014.
